The PaceSaver Espree Atlas is a mid-sized 3 wheeled scooter designed for the larger person weighing up to 450 lbs.
The Espree Atlas was designed to be used indoors and out and does both pretty well. 
 

The 46" mid-size length and three wheel configuration make it maneuverable enough for indoor use, but the 25.5" width does make it a little wide for some doorways. Outdoors the scooter proved to be as stable as any other 3 wheeled scooter that I have tried, more so then some. The side anti-tip wheels do provide extra security on a side slope.
 

The tire size is 3 x 9" on the front and 3 x 10" rear. A good compromise of stability and maneuverability. Standard tires are pneumatic but foam filled tires are available.

The seat is a generous 21" wide and 18" deep providing more comfort for us larger folk. The armrest are a little short for my taste, but wide enough to be comfortable. The seat swivels for easy transfers. The only concern I have about the Espree Atlas is the seat locking mechanism. It is a clamp type and even though I have never even heard of a problem with one, I wonder how well it will hold up to steady use, but so far I have not heard of anyone having a problem. To swivel the seat you pull the lever on the right side towards the rear of the chair, to lock the seat you push it towards the front of the chair. The seat is available in vinyl or velvet material.

The battery charger port is located on the tiller just above the knuckle and can be reached from the seated position without to much bending, a big improvement over most scooters.
 

The Espree Atlas disassembles into 4 pieces for transport or most trunk type lifts will handle it with ease.
 

Top speed is 5.4 mph, not fast enough for some people but fine for most users.

While we have not been handling them long, so far we have not had a single problem with any Pacesaver powerchair or scooter that we have sold and only one have been brought in for repairs in 7 years of being in business.

We recently had a gentleman bring in his Pacesaver scooter for repairs. He informed us that this was only the second time in over 10 years that his scooter had needed more than just tires or batteries. The repair cost around $100.00 and Pacesaver had the needed part in stock. This speaks volumes about Pacesaver quality and reliability. 

Options include a seat lift rated for 450 lbs, light packages, baskets, and much more.
 

I feel it is one of the best in its class with only minor shortcomings and I would highly recommend it to family, friends, and customers.

Parts are readily available.
Fits it designed purpose very well.
An excellent HD mid-size scooter.
Very reasonable pricing.


CONS

I am not sure about the seat lock mechanism, but have not heard of any problems.
