View the options available for custom wheelchair handrims.

Custom handrims are available in Aluminum, or Stainless steel with 3/4 O.D.

Coatings available for aluminum handrims are,
ANODIZED, ( Black or Clear.)
VINYL, ( Black or Gray.)
FOAM, ( Black or Sparkle.)
DURACUSH, foam with vinyl coating. ( Black or Gray.)

Projections available are, Vertical ( straight ), 15 degree angled, & 45 degree angled.
Projections are available in 3/4", 1", & 1-1/2" lengths.
8 projections are standard.

Mounting Types,
Your mounting type will depend on the wheelchair brand, type of wheel, and the handrims chosen. Below are some examples of the common types.

Rivnut Type is the most common. The screw goes through the wheel or clip, a spacer, then screws into the handrim.

Welded tab mount is used on some high end wheels and can be found in several styles.

Universal Brackets ( D ) are used to attach some projection type handrims to the existing mounting clips ( A ).

Stop clip mounting attaches the handrim directly to the spokes.
